About Watto's Smokehouse (TBA)
Jodie & Sean embrace the age old traditions of smoking meats, while recognising the exciting and diverse array of flavours in our modern Australian cuisine.
Before smoking, our products are marinaded for a short period in order to enhance the flavour.
The majority of our products are hot smoked which means the meats are cooked. It is during this process that the food changes both in colour and flavour, Jodie and Sean have spent a lot of time Critiquing flavours to stay true to a traditional Australian taste.
All our products are smoked using natural Australian hardwood timber such as Iron Bark and Red Gum, containing no additives, producing a rich and delicious, smokey flavour.
Jodie & Sean NEVER use any form of liquid smoke or any type of Nitrates in our smoking process.
