About Hillside Orchard (8, 9, 10)

'Hillside' is just one of the three orchards that we operate. The others being 'Apple Acres' and 'Ellamatta'. Between the three we have a combined acreage of 150 acres under fruit trees.
Then we have a further 8 acres under berry production.
We sell our full range of produce directly to the public from our shop which is situated 10km out of Orange on The Escort Way.

Our Team.

Grahame and Adam are ably assisted by Camille, Karen, Marcus, Sam and when needed Narelle and Bec travel down to lend a hand.

What's Available When

Cherries
We now have 16 different varieties of cherries growing. They are available from mid November to late December.
Stone Fruit
Apricots commence in late December.
Peaches and Nectarines from January to late March.
Plums from January till late April.
Apples
Earlygolds and Galas commence late January to early February followed by Jonagolds, Jonathons, Golden Delicious, Mutsu, Delicious, Bonza, Braeburn, Granny Smith, Fuji, Pink Lady, Lady Laura and Sundowners.
Pears
William are harvestd early February. Followed by Beurre Bosc, Packhams, red pears and Josephines.
Berries
Boysenberries, Loganberries and Raspberries commence mid December.
Blackberries are available early January.
Strawberries from October onwards.
Grapes
Black Muscat grapes are available early to mid April.
All year round we sell a full range of honey and jams made from produce grown on our orchards.
