Country Valley and Highland Organics award winning products are now available every Saturday. Located on a dairy farm in Picton, NSW, owned by the Fairley's since 1855, Country Valley and Highland Organics commenced producing their own bottled milk, yoghurt, cheese and cream in 2004. Country Valley and Highland Organics products, owned and run by John Fairley who is the sixth generation of Fairleys to farm this land, are farmed and processed within 200km of the Canberra CBD.
Highland Organics cheese is produced in Picton from certified organic milk sourced from organic farms at Moss Vale and Nowra. The skilled hand of Master Cheese Maker Andre Poirot ensures that Highland Organics cheeses are of the highest quality and have achieved gold and silver medals at the Royal Agricultural Society’s Cheese and Dairy Produce Shows.
Country Valley has also been extremely successful at these shows culminating in being awarded Grand Champion Yoghurt in 2008 as well as the 2008 Royal Agricultural Society’s President’s Medal for overall best product. All their products are produced as naturally as possible without any additives such as skim milk powder, permeate, gelatine or any starches or emulsifiers; just home grown 100% milk.
