Markets and our stallholders gaining national recognition

There’s been a bit about us and some of our valued stallholders in the national media lately and it’s time to blow our trumpet – hey, if we don’t who will?! Firstly we congratulate one of our long time stallholders, Li Sun Mushrooms, who were recently announced as a medallist in the 2010 Produce Awards. Awarded in the ‘From the Earth’ category, the awards recognised food heroes who raise the bar on what great produce means, and are listed in the current edition of Delicious magazine. Well done to Li Sun Mushrooms!

In other news another of our regular stallholders, Small Cow Farm, was recently featured in a story on local award-winning cheesemakers by Landline who came to film at the market on 10 July, so look out for that on the ABC. And recently we’ve also been lucky enough to have a visit from the Australian Financial Review’s Life & Leisure magazine and enquiries from G Magazine who are both featuring the market - so watch those spaces for more about your favourite farmers market!
